Churches throughout the United States are very divided in their beliefs, and there is a difference between churches. The only path to the unity for which Jesus prayed comes from following the Lord Jesus as He revealed the will of the Father in Scripture. When we all focus on the will of the Father, we see things alike. When we focus on our own will and desires, we go a thousand different ways.
